Keep every apartment above the NYC heat minimum

ROOMSYS Heat measures the temperature in each apartment and runs your boiler to the NYC Heat Law.

How it works

Wireless sensors track the temperature in every apartment. The boiler responds to the coldest reading to keep the whole building warm enough.

Battery powered. Nothing to wire in the apartments.

The boiler follows the coldest apartment

It runs until every apartment is warm enough, then stops. No cold apartments, no complaints, no reason for HPD to fine you.

The heat law minimums are set for you

68 °F during the day when it is below 55 °F outside, 62 °F at night, from October 1 to May 31.

Reports for HPD

Avoid HPD penalties by keeping required heat reports on track.

Stay ready before HPD asks. See each apartment's temperature against the legal minimum and download a report for any day, without gathering readings by hand.

For buildings in HPD's Heat Sensors Program, missing required monthly heat-data reports can lead to violations and penalties. Keep your temperature records within reach so your team can prepare submissions and respond to HPD requests with confidence.

Highlights

Keep track of heating across all your buildings from one dashboard. See the temperature in every apartment, identify the coldest unit, and monitor boiler conditions such as pressure, water level, and burner state. Alerts help you spot issues that need attention.

The boiler responds to the coldest apartment to help keep every unit above NYC heat minimums. When HPD asks for records, pull readings for any apartment and any day, then share or print a report without gathering the data by hand.
